As a team leader, your duties will include overseeing the efficient operation of our data center, designing, installing and maintaining our cloud architecture, and ensuring that the environment Our cloud is secure and compliant. monitor and maintain our existing on-premises network and infrastructure.
Your daily work:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Azure, and other cloud technologies.
- Networking skills in Cisco and F5, with local and hybrid work experience
- Implement security and compliance best practices in the cloud
- Research and evaluate new cloud technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
- Participate in rotations as required and respond to production incidents as needed. (24/7 in charge of managing a 2 person team about net and infra, not applications)
- Support performing cloud to Azure migrations from on premises data centers
- Work with stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
- Collaborate with developers and operations team to optimize application performance and availability.
Requirements:
- A degree in computer science or related field
- With over 5 years of experience designing and implementing cloud infrastructure.
- More than 5 years of networking experience
- Solid knowledge of Terraform, Azure and other cloud technologies
- Cisco Preferred Certifications
- Good scripting skills in language like Python or Bash.
- Experience mentoring and leading junior team members.
- Strong knowledge and experience in using infrastructure and configuration management tools (Octupus Deploy, Ansible, Terraform, Azure DevOps).
- Experience as a Senior Network System Admin.
- Strong knowledge of load balancers, network and URL routine
- Solid knowledge and experience with commonly used cloud infrastructure and models
- Advance knowledge and experience in physical, virtual and cloud environments.
- Advance knowledge and experience in confirguring and maintaining application tracking/monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana and ELK Stack).
- Experience with containers and container orchestration tools such as Dockers and Kubernetes.
- Advance knowledge of IT operation and best practices for always available services.
- An understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile.
- Familiarity with security and adherence to best practices for cloud environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
