Your Role: Head of Data Engineering
As the Head of Data Engineering, you’ll spearhead our data platform, leading a team of talented data engineers. From inception to scaling, you’ll hire, manage, and nurture a team that will be pivotal in shaping our company’s success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of geo-spatial and real estate analytics assets.
- Establish and maintain scalable data analytics pipelines and ETL processes.
- Harness structured and semi-structured data from diverse sources, transforming them into actionable insights.
- Become the resident expert in real estate data, providing invaluable insights to cross-functional teams.
- Create internal reporting tools to enhance team efficiency.
- Identify and integrate new data sources to enhance our understanding of the real estate market.
Skills & Experience:
Must Have:
- Proven experience leading data engineering teams.
- Proficiency in SQL, data transformation, and building data pipelines with large datasets.
- Experience with on-premise databases or cloud platforms for reporting functions or ETL processes.
- Proficient English communication skills.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with big data analytics tools like Apache Spark, Databricks, or BigQuery.
- Experience with data workflow tools such as Knime, Alteryx, or RapidMiner.
- Good Knowledge of data analytics packages like pandas.
- Understanding of geo-spatial analytics and statistical analysis.
